YIDAKI / DIDGERIDOO PERFORMER

Kiernan Ironfield is a Dharug man and Yidaki player.  He is former Co-CEO of Songlines Music (2019-2023)

Kiernan has performed Yidaki for televised games for the NRL, AFL and, Women's T20 World Cup final and A-League. He performs at major live events solo and alongside Wurundjeri Women's Dance Group Djirrji Djirri Dancers.

Through his music Kiernan creates spaces to explore thought and be lead by the vibrations of the Yidaki. Kiernan acknowledges the Yolngu people as custodians of the Yidaki and the people of the Kulin nation, whose land he lives upon.
